Huntington's Disease (HD), a hereditary neurodegenerative condition, affects not only motor movements but also cognitive and emotional functions. Its impacts extend beyond patients and their families, also reflecting on the healthcare system and society as a whole.
Although technological and scientific advances have improved the diagnosis and treatment of the disease, it is still essential to raise awareness of the social challenges faced by individuals living with HD.
