ADVANCED THERAPIES
August 2025
Advanced therapies represent one of the most disruptive innovations in modern medicine, with significant expansion expected in the coming years.
Despite their enormous therapeutic potential, access to these products varies widely across countries, influenced by factors such as regulatory maturity, available infrastructure, capacity to administer treatments, and funding models.
This Special Edition presents the results of an unprecedented study conducted by ORIGIN Health, which analyzes the landscape of advanced therapies in eight countries and regions: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, China, the United States, Japan, Mexico, and the European Union.
With this material, MIT Technology Review Brazil seeks to contribute to building pathways that will allow these innovations to reach patients in need in a sustainable way.
This content is part of the Advanced Therapies project, supported by six developing industries. The curation and editorial responsibility are exclusively those of MIT Technology Review Brazil, without prior approval from the sponsors.
